Power is Back!

11 days. That's how long we were without power after the December 11th ice storm here in NH. It is so nice to have hot running water and a stove again! And just in time for Christmas. :-)

It will be a few days as I get back and running here online... but you can expect new posts and a new e-zine before long.

It's nice to be back!

Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,

I've been reading your posts lately and thought I'd write and say how much I've enjoyed them. I love the whole concept of a very small closet - I found it quite liberating.

A couple of years ago I went from being a stay at home Mom to a Quickbooks Consultant and I learned pretty quickly that my regular jeans and t-shirt uniform wasn't going to get me the kinds of jobs that would pay the day care bills!

I think I've read all the fashion books on the market, and buy-buy-buy is implicit in most of them. I got the feeling that I could never be done with the wardrobe building. But then I read about your theory and I felt I could relax about the wardrobe.

Wishing you the best,
Audrey Mitchell

Hi Audrey, Thanks for confirming jeans and tee shirts have to go. I agree!

Jennifer, where are you? We miss you so much! Why can't I pull up your website?

Come back soon, we need you.

I was so disappointed to see your
website no longer available. I've recommended it to a lot of folks. I feel like I've read every bit of wardrobe advice ever written and your template for selecting bottoms and putting 2 sets of tops with them has been the most helpful to me in trying to have a coherent and not excessive wardrobe. Love your critique of the capsule wardrobe idea, too. I think you have ideas with a lot of impact and hope you have not given up on this. I think you should write a book.

Hi Vildy, I agree, thank you for your encouragement. I hope Jennifer gets back to work soon. My spring wardrobe needs her!

Hi Vildy,

I agree - it seems like she has the material for a book between her blog and the website. Maybe that's something to look forward to!
